Types Of Views
FotoAlbum provides several different ways of viewing your pictures. They include:
- All View: This view displays all pictures (or a subset using filters) with a tree showing all albums and groups. It is intended to allow you to quickly scan all of your pictures independent of the album(s) they may belong to.
- Devices View (Scanners and Cameras) This view allows you to connect to Scanners, Cameras and removable media to add pictures to your photo albums. Once pictures have been retrieved from your devices, you will use the other views to organize and view them.
- Explorer View: This view allows you to view pictures anywhere on your local PC or any shared drives. It gives you complete access to view pictures on any accessible drive. This screen is useful to locate pictures on folders outside your picture folder and to add them into your albums.
- Album View: The album views allow you to quickly view pictures that belong to a certain album. You can create as many albums as you need to group your pictures. Albums should be used as a "high-level" grouping of pictures. You can create groups within albums to further categorize your pictures.
- Full Screen View: Displays a single picture in full screen mode. From this view you can also access powerful slide show capabilities.
